Where Does North Port Source Its Water?
Our water is primarily sourced from the Myakkahatchee Creek and six intermediate groundwater wells. The city also purchases treated surface water from the Peace River Manasota Regional Water Supply Authority, which is treated at the Peace River Water Treatment Plant in DeSoto County.
What Are Common Contaminants in Municipal Water?
